  • 4 Subjects of Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University

The Four Subjects of Brahma Kumaris Godly World Spiritual University are Gyan (knowledge), Rajyoga (meditation on God), Dharna (cultivation of wisdom) and Seva (service to the world). Four subjects of Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University Online course PDF History of BK Following are the four main subjects that we Godly students ( BK - Brahma Kumar and Brahma Kumari) study through the nectar of Murli. 1. Gyaan (Knowledge) Happiness is related to our wisdom (deep reflection of knowledge ). Knowledge means 'understanding'. Knowledge is given to a child so that he understands the difference between right and wrong, and choose the right aspect. Otherwise said, it is the light which guides us to the path of life and liberation. God only awakens all souls by giving us the true knowledge which was covered by ignorance. He is incorporeal and gives speaks this knowledge of Murli through the mouth of Brahma baba . We are children of the ocean of knowledge (God), but our self-awakening is hidden and covered by 5 vices (lust, anger, greed, ego, attachment) and hence we call him for liberation. So how can the knowledge of the soul be uncovered? Source: What is Murli 2. Raja Yog (meditation on God) Wisdom or knowledge of the soul is only uncovered when all vices are removed. RajYog or Raja Yoga is the supreme knowledge delivered to us by God himself -a direct connection and relationship with the Supreme being, through which we souls can become pure (original) and by which we attain liberation in life (Jeevan Mukti). In Raja Yog, we meditate upon the form of God, which is a point of light and might. We also consider our-self as a point of light, just as our father (God). This is an intellectual connection and hence is a matter of experience, not seeing. We clearly sense the love and powers coming into us. Raja Yoga basically awakens our 8 powers . This subject of Yoga (Yog) is incognito, i.e. no one can know if you are in the state of meditation. 3. Dharna (being an embodiment of Knowledge) 'Practice makes us Perfect.' This is a subject that is visible to all. It is a practical adoption of knowledge. For example, we have knowledge that we are a Soul, but Dharna means to become an embodiment of Soul consciousness . In such a stage, the original virtues of peace, purity, love, royalty, bliss, and powers are visible in all our Karma (actions). This is practical life lived with Godly knowledge. It is the ability to which one grasps and inherits some information. Here we grasp the points from Murli and inherit its wisdom. It is known that just as the sun shines everywhere equally, god gives everyone equally. But we receive it according to our own capacity to inherit. Through this knowledge, we are becoming like Lakshmi and Narayan. This is Dharna of virtues within us. There are 7 original virtues . 4. World Service When one is awakened, he lifts others just as a candle. So are we fortunate souls who received the knowledge through the supreme father are now serving the nectar of supreme knowledge to the whole world. Baba said: 'If you are awakened and are receiving your inheritance from me, it is also your duty to awaken your brothers and make their fortune .' Day by day this knowledge is getting clearer. So many those who initially doubted are coming back. BKs gets the directions for services from the Murli that we daily study. ''This subject of service is beneficial for both Self and the World '' - Avyakt BaapDada. One who keeps his mind and intellect busy in serving others will also stay away and unaffected from all worldly matters. God has taught us how to live.! It is the best life which is lived for welfare and upliftment of the whole world. It requires virtues of love, mercy and detachment for being a noble world servant. Visit our Online Services page. GOD's message to all '' In this time of great confluence (meeting of souls with the supreme soul), I have come again to defeat the kingdom of vices and establish the new world (heaven). For this, I give knowledge and teach you RajYog through which you shall attain Self-sovereignty and become a master of your senses, mind, and intellect. I give you power when you remember me. So dear child, forget this old impure world, as I am making the new world of peace and limitless happiness for you, where all of you children will be complete with virtues, happiness, wealth, and powers, as are you aware of the self as a soul. There is law followed by all in everything. The world is perfect.!'' Useful Links 4 Subjects Hindi About Us Resources FAQ General Articles Next ➺

  • Positive Reflections of 1 July 2023 | Brahma Kumaris

"Think Only About Solutions" ➤ Positive Reflections on 1 July 2023 (Daily Thought Reflections by Awakening with Brahma Kumaris) ⇦ Reflections 2023-07-01 Think & Talk Only About Solutions ⇦ ⇨ Sometimes we face times when situations are challenging or people are difficult to manage. If we focus on the problem, we get upset, we worry, we fear, we blame and we complain. All these deplete our energy, and in a depleted state, our problem appears even bigger. We need to save our energy and focus it on creating solutions. Do you often keep talking about your problems more than solutions, and dwell on negative feelings? During a crisis do you get stuck ruminating, thinking and discussing - Who was responsible, why did it happen, how could things go so wrong with me? Or do you remind yourself and others involved, to simply focus on what is to be done now? ➔ However bad our situation is, its solution is the only thing that really matters. Loading the mind with overwhelming questions drains our 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 apart from wasting time. We need to silence the mind, not allow it to go on with thoughts of blame, feeling like a victim, criticizing or rejecting the situation. These thoughts deplete us, deplete others and deplete the energy of the situation. This approach magnifies the problem. Details of the problem can be thought of later, the immediate need is to shift to solutions. Let’s accept the problem. It has already happened so we need to focus on the present moment. Let’s divert our every thought to 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺. ➔ From today, when you are in the middle of a difficult situation or with a difficult person, tell yourself your life is perfect and every scene is beautiful. Direct your energy towards solutions whenever there is an issue, big or small. Accept the situation, the person. Do not waste your energy in questioning scenes or behaviors. Know that it is people’s sanskars, know that it is your past karma, you had written this scene in your destiny. Focus on yourself, your actions, your behavior. ➔ Focus on your objectives, on the next scene and use your energy to be in the present. Your power is in the present. So remain calm. Focus on the solution, think of the solution, talk of the solution and create a solution. Finally implement the solution and cross the situation. This is being solution-oriented and the key to positivity, happiness and stability. Suggested Link ➔ Visit: "Samadhan Records"

Suggested ➔ All posts on "Free from Addiction" Quote of the day "To be a master is to be able to experience freedom" Thought : Usually, when things go in the wrong direction, we find ourselves caught in the grip of our weaknesses. We allow our weaknesses to take over us and find ourselves in their complete control. This leaves us helpless. This makes us feel like a burden. If we continue like this, we will never be able to overcome our weaknesses. Process : I need to remember my strengths. I also need to remember the fact that my weaknesses are my own creation. So that I can experience freedom and use these strengths, then, I will experience freedom in any situation. Previous Next day

  • Respect Others' Perspectives | Brahma Kumaris Messages

Withdraw From Arguments. Respect Others' Perspectives : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2023-02-22 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ Withdraw From Arguments. Respect Others' Perspectives Differences of opinions arise in everyday interactions, as the sanskars and perspectives we all carry differ. At such times if we are egoistic to prove our point and criticize the other person, the discussion turns into an argument. But if we choose to emotionally withdraw, remain stable and then speak, the dialogue moves towards harmony despite our differences. What is your threshold for calm interactions during a verbal exchange, when you disagree with someone? Does your temperament flare and you argue to prove your point? Also, do lengthy arguments feel worthwhile? Being heard is important. But healthy discussions need us to pause, process the situation, create a response and then speak. ➥ We also need to listen to their opinion without internally concluding they are wrong. There’s more power in being humble than to argue. Humility keeps our emotions in check. Otherwise it becomes a power game of us being right rather than our opinion being right. Arguments arise out of ego and block productive communication. Each one is right from their perspective - this line is to be underlined in our minds. It helps us radiate respect, put our point across calmly, and accept differences with stability. ➥ Throughout the day, living with people, working with them or coming into interaction even with strangers, take care of your mind. If there are difference of opinions put across your opinion with stability. Detach from your perspective and see theirs. If you are still not comfortable with their opinion, accept your differences with dignity for yourself and respect for them. Understand that they speak as per their sanskars and their perspectives, I speak as per mine. Neither of us are wrong, both are different. ➥ Use this knowledge to internally withdraw from the unhealthy energies of the scene like how a tortoise gets into its shell. Don’t let it break into an argument or conflict. Don’t allow your ego to argue and prove yourself right and don’t deplete happiness and health by arguing. Radiate vibrations of respect and acceptance to the other person and heal their disturbed mind with your vibrations. Re-establish harmony and delete the incident from your mind. Don’t let it create any emotional wound. Do this every time with everyone. Suggested ➔ Swamaan & Commentaries Quote of the day "The best way to get respect is to give respect to the self" Expression : There is always an expectation of getting respect from those around. The one who is totally dependent on others for their own sense of well-being tends to react to situations, even if they are very insignificant ones. On the other hand, the one who is able to give respect to the self gives respect to others too and so receives respect back. Experience : When I am able to see my own specialities I am able to have respect for myself. Then I am not dependent on external sources for my inner state of mind. I remain free from all external influences, and am able to become a source of influence for those around me. I constantly "enrich" my own internal state with each thing that happens. • Forgive & Forget | Brahma Kumaris Messages

Forgive & Forget : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2025-04-08 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ Forgive & Forget Forgiveness and forgetting are about releasing the heavy burden of past hurts so that we can live more freely in the present. It involves acknowledging the pain someone caused while choosing not to let that pain control our emotions or dictate our future actions. By forgiving, we allow ourselves to heal, transforming negative experiences into lessons learned rather than lingering memories. Forgetting, in this sense, means moving forward without continuously revisiting the sting of past wounds, thereby opening up space for growth, joy, and new experiences. ➤It’s like your neighbour who takes out rubbish, throws it outside his house, into your house compound and forgets about it and you allow that rubbish to remain there, without thinking of getting it cleaned. Someone throws a few negative words at you and they forget, but not only do you not forget but you repeat them in your mind to such a point that at times these action replays do not even let you sleep, be content, and at peace within. ➤We need to learn the art of forgetting past memories that generate shadows of hurt or pain in our present. The past has already gone and what you have now is the present moment. So let go, forgive and forget. Without forgiving you will not be able to forget. Listening to and reading 'spiritual wisdom' and practicing "introspection" and "meditation" help us inculcate this power within us based on the foundation of spiritual understanding and inner reflection. Suggested ➔ Post: "Forgiveness Meditation" Quote of the day "Seeing situations from a different perspective brings Happiness" Thought : When everything is the same, we become bored and unhappy. If we continue to think and act in the same way, we become stuck in a well-worn path. We are unable to be inspired by new situations and opportunities. This robs us of our creative energy and leads us to a lifeless and uninspired state. Process : I find happiness when I try to approach life situations in a new way. My mental energy and power are channeled in a creative way. Then, I feel contentment and satisfaction. Life automatically becomes very beautiful. Previous Next day

  • Peace & Purity | Brahma Kumaris Messages

Peace & Purity : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2026-07-28 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ Peace & Purity Peace and purity are the twin wings of the soul’s true nature. Purity arises when thoughts, words, and actions align with truth and love; peace follows as its natural fragrance. In spiritual understanding, peace is not the absence of noise but the presence of clarity — a silent strength that flows from a pure heart. When the mind is free from negativity and the soul remembers its divine origin, peace and purity blossom together, illuminating life with calm wisdom and gentle power. 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥—a state of complete honesty, love, and goodwill. It flows not from forced discipline, but from the awareness that the soul is inherently divine. A pure mind attracts peace naturally, just as a clean mirror reflects light effortlessly. Purity of thought, word, and action creates harmony both within and around, turning ordinary living into sacred practice. Together, peace and purity form the 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡. Peace gives stability to the heart, while purity gives it power. When both bloom in consciousness, one experiences true freedom — untouched by circumstance, steady amidst chaos, and radiant with the quiet joy of knowing one’s eternal connection with the Divine. Suggested ➔ Learn "7 Qualities of Soul" Quote of the day “Peace is the fragrance of purity, and purity is the root of peace.” This quote expresses the deep link between a calm mind and a clean heart. True peace cannot exist in a mind clouded by anger, ego, or impurity — it arises naturally when thoughts are pure and intentions are selfless. Purity brings clarity, and with clarity comes serenity. When the soul lives by truth and love, free from deceit or inner conflict, peace flows effortlessly like a cool breeze after a storm. Thus, to seek peace is not to chase silence, but to nurture purity — for when the inner garden is clean, the fragrance of peace spreads on its own. Previous Next day

  • Talking to the self | Brahma Kumaris Inspirations

Read inspiring message of 2025-01-26 : Talking to the self . Brahma Kumaris Daily Thoughts and Inspirations. ⇦ Inspirations Messages ⇨ 2025-01-26 Talking to the self ⇦ ⇨ When you talk to yourself in your mind, which self do you address? And how? Usually, people do not talk to their divinity, but to the most superficial aspects of their everyday personality. And often it's a stream of fears, complaints, and mindless repetition of old things. If we talked that way to another human being, we would have to apologise. Learning to talk properly to the self is a spiritual endeavor. Thoughts from the past and worries about the future do not create good conversation. Instead, learn to talk to your mind as if it were a child. Talk to it with love. If you force a child to sit down, he won't. A good mother knows how to prompt her child to do what she wants. Be a good mother to your mind, teach it good, positive thoughts so that when you tell it to sit quietly, it will. Love your mind. Stay happy.
