- Positive Reflections of 24 May 2023 | Brahma Kumaris
"Rich in Relationships (Part 3)" ➤ Positive Reflections on 24 May 2023 (Daily Thought Reflections by Awakening with Brahma Kumaris) ⇦ Reflections 2023-05-24 Living a Life with Good Relationships (Part 3) ⇦ ⇨ Loving everyone for their specialties is the best way to create beautiful relationships. It’s good to see one 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆 in everyone you come across and interact with each day. Suppose your parent has the virtue of 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 at peace amongst little issues at home, that is the virtue of tolerance. Learn from him or her and become like that. This is the art of imbibing or picking up 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗲𝘀. It is not only seeing others’ qualities which is also a sign of love, but making that quality yours. Also, suppose your brother or sister is good at dealing with people, make that quality yours and become like them. This is not bowing down in front of the other person. But, on the other hand, it is remaining in 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 and giving 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 to the VIRTUES in the other person. ➤ The other person will do the same in return. This is called true love and it is what brings people together in a beautiful bond of togetherness. It’s not about copying people but making people feel valuable by making their qualities yours. It is commonly said in spiritual wisdom – give blessings and take blessings. But another and similar act is - give qualities and take qualities. It binds people together and it creates an energy of trust wherever there are groups of people, whether in the family or at the workplace or in friend circles. ➤ Also, whenever you meet someone, it is important to greet people with a 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. By doing this, people experience 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 not only from our words but also through our actions. Your beautiful smile can make another person’s day. Also, remembering each one’s 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐞𝐬) and telling them to others is a beautiful way of 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 from others. So make it a point to praise everyone with a deep heart and with a 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 and not just artificially. You will see how people will respond by offering you their co-operation and help at every step. Suggested Link ➔ "Healing Relationship" TV series

"Addiction to Photographs" ➤ Positive Reflections on 31 Oct 2023 (Daily Thought Reflections by Awakening with Brahma Kumaris) ⇦ Reflections 2023-10-31 Overcoming Addiction to Photographs & Selfies ⇦ ⇨ Before the era of smartphones, taking a photo was a process in itself. Today we are always eager to capture pictures of ourselves and our lives too often and feel compelled to upload them on social media to get attention. Addiction to capturing life’s moments with a camera is destroying our ability to capture vibrations of the experience in our mind. Do you inevitably leave late for a party as you’re clicking selfies and uploading them on social media? Can you just not stop capturing videos on every occasion? And do you feel let down if your posts don’t gather enough Likes? ➤We enjoy reflecting on precious memories through photos and videos. But the urge to click-every-moment is leading to an addiction to posting them on social media and seeking public approval. Every scene radiates an energy that is to be experienced. We also need to radiate our own good energy to that scene. In striving for a perfect photo, we tend to pose and pretend to a point where our authentic energy gets blocked. Let’s honour privacy. Capture photos for yourself, not for public approval. ➤Enjoy life’s scenes, there is beauty and goodness everywhere. You visit many beautiful places, meet so many loveful people, and attend several memorable events. There is a lot happening and many memories to cherish. But do not become addicted to clicking photos to make memories. When there is a picture-perfect scene, just take a couple of photos if needed and put the camera down to feel the vibrations and to take in the moment. Experience the energy and not just view it through the lens of a camera, absorb the vibrations and radiate your pure vibrations to the scene. ➤Capture your life’s memories in your mind and rely on your memory. It is sharp and strong. Emotionally connect back to that memory. When family or friends share their photos regularly, don’t engage in social competition and don’t crave attention. Even if you need to share it with someone it shouldn't be to get their approval. Approve yourself and have all the good times recorded in your mind. Repeat this affirmation 3 times to de-addict from constantly taking self-portraits or other pictures - I am a blissful being. I record life’s beautiful scenes on the screen of my mind, not on my camera. I hold precious life’s moments in my memory. I radiate peace and happiness to every scene and fully live the experience.
Raja Yoga meditation, method and practise in Hindi. Our official Hindi guide.

Brahma Kumaris Daily Thoughts and Inspirations. ⇦ Inspirations Messages ⇨ 2024-12-03 Courage & Letting Go ⇦ ⇨ It takes honesty as well as courage to give ourselves a good shake and see things for what they are, not what we imagine them to be. Courage and letting go are deeply intertwined, as it often takes immense bravery to release what no longer serves us. Letting go requires facing fears of uncertainty, loss, or change with resilience and trust in the future. It means releasing attachment to past hurts, expectations, or comfort zones to make space for growth, healing, and new opportunities. Suggested Link ➔ Get Help (FORUM) Please SHARE this page link
- Attachment & its Types (Part 3) | Brahma Kumaris Messages
Realising Attachment & its Different Types (Part 3) : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2023-05-11 ⇦ ⇨ Realising Attachment & its Different Types (Part 3) Each time we attach ourselves to anything which is external or internal, we create fears, amongst which the main one is the fear of loss of what I am attached to. The attachment not only gives rise to fear but also brings with it emotions like anger, ego, sadness, jealousy, greed, comparisons, hatred etc. All these emotions have their roots in attachment, which gives rise to insecurity and discontentment. ➥ Attachment is a sanskar that is so deeply embedded inside our consciousness that it seems normal to us. It is just a sanskar but it has immense amount of power and it manages to imprison us emotionally and spiritually, but most of the time we do not even realize that we are imprisoned. ➥ The negative emotional states connected with this kind of attachment create a state of internal mental pressure or an inner emptiness and make us feel absolutely helpless and emotionally weak at times and harm our consciousness negatively. Over a period of many births, we have become so accustomed to attachment and the various forms of suffering connected with it, that we have started believing that it is an integral part of the human personality and human life since the beginning and is, therefore, natural. ➥ And so we continue with the sanskar of attachment and even keep strengthening it, never ever thinking that it should be removed. We do this with internal stress and unhappiness to the point that even our health, work and relationships get affected negatively. The natural state of the self is free and not attached to anything. Attachments, whether to anything external or internal, were acquired at different points of time in the birth-rebirth cycle and are not natural or there from the beginning. All the things mentioned in the last two days’ messages have existed from the beginning but attachment to them has not. The present suffering indicates to us that attachment is something abnormal or not natural. Suggested ➔ Overcome Emotional Attachment Quote of the day "True Knowledge Brings Humility" Expression : True knowledge inspires and encourages one to bring about a practical change in one's life. The one with knowledge naturally imbibes it, which is also revealed in his practical life, because he is humbly willing to learn from all situations . As much as there is knowledge, so much there is divinity revealed in all words and actions. Experience : When I am able to humbly learn from all situations. I am able to enrich my own knowledge. This knowledge further enables me to become more and more practical. So during all difficult situations, I am able to remain light and internally stable . There will be no fluctuation experienced within, whatever the challenges may be. Previous Next day

Read inspiring message of 2024-05-17 : The Pitfalls of Comparison . Brahma Kumaris Daily Thoughts and Inspirations. ⇦ Inspirations Messages ⇨ 2024-05-17 The Pitfalls of Comparison ⇦ ⇨ Comparing ourselves to others can be a trap that leads to feelings of inferiority, superiority, or envy. Each of these emotions distracts from the deeper truth of our shared humanity, which is rooted in mutual love and respect derived from self-worth that we generate within ourselves. To shield yourself from these vulnerabilities, focus inward and cultivate a spiritual sense of authentic pride. By anchoring yourself in true self-respect, you maintain inner peace and stay unaffected by external comparisons. This approach encourages a balanced and harmonious existence, deeply connected to our core values. Suggested Link ➔ "Journey of Self-discovery" Please SHARE this page link

Read inspiring message of 2025-02-05 : "Appreciation" . Brahma Kumaris Daily Thoughts and Inspirations. ⇦ Inspirations Messages ⇨ 2025-02-05 "Appreciation" ⇦ ⇨ Even if I don't mean to be critical, I often unconsciously focus on others' weaknesses and mistakes. The more I develop the habit of noticing goodness and only holding on to the good in others and in situations, the more my own sense of well-being will rise. Appreciation brings 'gratitude', strengthens relationships, and enhances overall well-being. When we take the time to recognize and value the efforts of others, we create a positive and encouraging environment that promotes kindness and mutual respect. Appreciation also helps shift our focus from what we lack to what we have, increasing happiness and contentment in life. Suggested Link ➔ Read: "Overcoming Challenges" Please SHARE this page link
