Practical Suggestions
When worries about your health start to take place in your mind, try this👉
●Calm: Notice ("observe") the fear without judging it... "let the thoughts come and pass" (do not hold them) >> practise meditation & mindfulness.
●Breathe: Breathe slowly into your belly to bring yourself back to now.
●Exercise & Move: Physical exercise and any form of movement (walking, stretching, dancing) is VERY important for emotional & mental wellness.
●Write a Diary: Develop a good habit of "writing down your thoughts, about your day, etc" every day before sleeping... this really helps to find clarity and reslience amidst a challenging time... write this letter to God.
●Speak to Someone: When you feel overwhelmed, message or speak to someone >> a family member, a trusted friend, or even consult a therapist.
●No Dr Google: That googling about your health issue only increases the anxiety (do not rely on google searches).
●Visit a doctor: Save your questions for a real doctor... approach a reputed doctor who knows about your issue.
