- Death in Family (or a loved one)In Question Answers·11 April 2025'No one is lost forever'—this timeless truth echoes through the wisdom of every spiritual traditions and scriptures, reminding us that the soul is eternal and deathless. In a world where physical separations and endings often feel final, this perspective offers a profound comfort: That the 'essence' of who we are lives on, continuously evolving and interconnecting beyond the boundaries of physical world, time, and space. Through this post, please find peace & comfort by knowing that—we are all eternal, only 'visitors' to this world... and we all meet back again after leaving the physical body, in the soul world... That the soul experiences 'great joy' while leaving the body... There is no reason to grieve, but 'bless' the departed soul and do some good work in their name... so that they continue their journey ahead peacefully. So please read the following in the same context. ———————————— 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 The following is meant to heal you out of the immediate trauma upon death (loss) of a loved one (a family member). We have given spiritual insight (knowing), some wisdom, and some practical understanding... along with many "links" that are very helpful and important for you to fully understand and be healed. 🌴Sachin, welcome to the Samadhan family, and i am pleased to see that you opened your heart here, and put this query on the group. ———— 🌸We all can understand that an immeditately response to such a scene is not pleasant. It is understandable for the family to experience 'shock' and 'distress'. And it is good that you reached the right place. 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 & 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩... Now we are here to show you the other side of it, with 𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚕 𝚒𝚗𝚜𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝, and guidance on 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐. I want you to take this message and give to all your family (reading the same words, or explain using your own words—but the message must be given accurately) 🌈The first step to healing is—to 'understand' and 'accept' what has happened. And if you are an old member of our Samadhan platform/group/family, you would know (as i have written it in many of our responses)—that 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐮𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 (Birth & death is predesinted as per the soul's journey and pending karmic settlements) ➕All this is made abundantly clear in the following 𝟑 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬. Please go through them after reading this post: ➤Are Events of Life predestined? ➤Is Life & Drama predestined? ➤Is Birth & Death predestined? What Happened? Please convey them that—this was NOT accidental, but 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 '𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧'. The soul was not meant to stay here for long, as 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 (𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥) 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝, and it has to take another birth somewhere else to continue its 'spiritual journey'. This is how life happens. It is not what you want right now, but what is good for the 𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚕. "𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥" 🍎We have seen this MANY times... A sudden death in family first cause a shock and despair, but very quickly everyone 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 from it... Because, deep within them, even they KNOW that—𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 and this has happened for 'a higher purpose'. And we are never separated or lost for ever. We do meet again. 👉We invite you now to visit our post: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵? The movie's name is 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 (1998) where this spiritual truth of 'afterlife' is shown in a way everyone can understand and relate. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀? Would he be happy seeing you unhappy? That is the question you ask. Instead, do some charity (good work) in his name, so those in need are helped, while the departed soul (and you all) earn blessings. 🪻How fortunate and timely that just yesterday, we wrote a response, titled 𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 & 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡 (This will teach you HOW you can send your 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 & 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to that soul so it finds peace & comfort) Do Good in their name Do not reflect of what is already happened.. it was meant to be... it was PLANNED to be, for a reason you do not remember now... So stop thinking or blaming yourself (there is nothing to gain from that)... Instead, 𝐝𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 (𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠) in his name and let the soul receive BLESSINGS from those who are touched (helped) by the good karma you would do in his name. ★ 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗶𝗳𝘁 ★ This is going to be special. - Lust is the our Greatest enemy, How to OvercomeIn Question Answers·28 May 2021How to overcome lust (body consciousness), the greatest enemy of human beings and the reason of all sorrow. Here is such email we received where we guided the soul to its original nature of purity and peace. There is much understanding needed for this. We are a Soul, not this body. Original Question: OM Shanti, I have seen a couple of programs of bk sister Shivani on television and you tube.I have been very inspired by her words. I have some marital problems that i need to resolve.I am married for the last 4 years but my relationship with my husband is not good at all. I am not happy with him both physically and mentally. We have no sex life and we hardly get intimated with each other. I have been experiencing this since our marriage. He doesn't want to have a baby. I just don't know what to do now. I really need your advise in this regard. Thanks. Our Response (Answer) To: Anonymous Dear '---' Surprise to get such letter on Brahma Kumari website which promotes the celibacy and purity or holiness in life. But it is our duty to respond all questions. So we will. Do read with clarity and patience to understand Not new, that today world (humanity) has been unaware of its true spiritual identity. That has caused the downfall of humanity in only about 50 years. Yourself see, before 50 years, India was very different. We had our moral values, family and responsibilities. They were living with peace with all religions. Most of us were very religious and our karma was much better from today. Today, mainly because of science inventions (mobile, tv) peaceless-ness has come. Next: Undoubtedly the reason of ALL sorrow is the 1st enemy of ours (kaam - sex) . In Geeta also, God tells - this Kaam is your biggest enemy. We all are trying to conquer this enemy which is really powerful. It has covered the Soul consciousness - that I am a soul, not this body. This body is made of 5 elements of nature. --- Useful Links --- CELIBACY (a way of life): https://www.brahma-kumaris.com/single-post/celibacy-is-raja-yoga-way-of-Life Who am i ?: https://www.brahma-kumaris.com/who-am-i-the-soul About GOD: https://www.brahma-kumaris.com/god-the-supreme-soul-shiv-baba Do save or visit all the above links. - Forgiving YourSelfIn Question Answers·15 March 2025Forgiving others can be difficult, yet it becomes easy & natural, as we understand spiritual secrets... but forgiving yourself is often the most challenging act of self-compassion. Whether it’s a mistake from the past, a choice you regret, or a moment when you fell short of your own expectations, self-blame can linger like a shadow, trapping you in cycles of shame and self-criticism. Yet self-forgiveness isn’t about excusing your actions—it is about freeing yourself from their weight, avoiding negative influence on your mind, reclaiming your humanity, and making space for spiritual GROWTH. This article offers gentle guidance to help you navigate the messy, tender journey of releasing self-judgment, embracing empathy for your imperfections, and rebuilding trust in your ability to move forward. Healing begins when you stop punishing yourself for being human. Let’s take the first step. So please read the following in the same context. ———————————— 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 This is a 'brief' look on the topic of 'self healing' & 'forgiveness'. To understand and get further guidance, clarity, and support, please follow the "links" given within this post. ---------------- ☘️You have mentioned it right. When we are on the 𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚕 𝚙𝚊𝚝𝚑, in this process of 𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏-𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐, forgiving others becomes much easier than forgiving the self. 🪴This is because, we clearly understand the reason others behave as they do, we also understand how 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 of past life influences our present, and how nothing external can influence our "inner-truth" 🍁But what most of us miss to understand---is that all of this knowledge also applies to us. All of us are on this same journey of "𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠" where we do make mistakes & 'learn' from them. We face difficulties and GROW out of them. We face challenges & come out 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 & 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫. 🌷We are meant to forgive ourself... Self-forgiveness is vital, as it is indeed the FIRST STEP of 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. And only by healing your-self first can you heal another... Only when you attain 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 and "spiritual awareness" can you begin helping others. Forgiveness & Healing Self-forgiveness is the cornerstone of self-healing and leading a fulfilling life, as it liberates you from cycles of guilt, shame, and self-sabotage that keep you tethered to the past. By releasing the burden of regret, you unlock emotional resilience, rebuild self-trust, and reclaim your dignity & peace. This act of radical compassion doesn’t erase mistakes but allows you to grow from them, fostering inner peace and the 'courage to embrace life' with authenticity. Only by shedding the weight of self-judgment can you fully engage in the present, nurture healthier relationships, and pursue your life-purpose with clarity and hope. The 7 Qualities for Success Success (in any field) mainly depends on your intent, skills, quality-work, mindset, experience, presence of mind, and patience. These are the 7 most important qualities to nurture, if you are seeking 'success' in anything. Intent: Success starts with having a clear purpose or goal. When you know what you want to achieve, it becomes easier to stay focused, prioritize tasks, and channel your energy in the right direction. Skills: Acquiring and refining the necessary abilities in your chosen field ensures you can perform effectively. Continuous learning and practice help you stay competitive and confident in your capabilities. Work: Consistent effort and perseverance are essential for turning plans into tangible results. Dedicating time and energy, even in the face of challenges, builds momentum toward success. Mindset: A positive and adaptive outlook enables you to bounce back from failures and learn from them. Viewing obstacles as opportunities for growth helps maintain motivation and fosters resilience. Experience: Hands-on involvement and accumulated knowledge deepen your understanding of your field. Every project, challenge, or collaboration serves as a lesson, improving your judgment and decision-making. Presence of Mind: Staying alert to what’s happening around you allows for quick and correct responses. Being mentally present aids in recognizing opportunities, adapting to unexpected changes, and preventing mistakes. Patience: Lasting success often doesn’t happen overnight. Waiting for results while steadily working toward them helps you remain calm and focused, allowing you to build a robust foundation for long-term achievements. The 3 Keys to Success Whether you are working for an exam, or trying to get a job, or finding success at work... the three most important keys to get success are: ● Knowledge & Experience ● Focus/Concentration ● Determination & Positive attitude 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲/𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 In whatever field we are trying for success, the first step is always "gaining complete knowledge of the subject/field". Having the knowledge itself puts you one step ahead of others. - Faith vs Blind faithIn Question Answers·23 April 2025Faith, a cornerstone of human experience, has long been a source of strength, hope, guidance, and connection to the transcendent. Yet, its shadow—blind faith—often blurs the line between 'trust' and 'uncritical acceptance'—raising profound questions about the role of faith & beliefs in shaping our lives. Faith is often associated with "faith in god" and so knowing that god, the higher power is on our side and that everything will work out in our favour. Thus, faith is our innate trust and alignment with the divine (god) and the divine timing of the universe >> the knowing that everything (all blessings and events) unfolds at a right time for our good and growth. While faith gives purpose and hope, blind faith demands allegiance without questioning, silencing criticism and dismissing doubts. Faith is the 'light' we carry through the journey of life, its glow guiding each step in this journey. Blind faith, by contrast, is like walking this journey but closing your eyes and ears. In this post, we are publishing our response given to a lady who approached us regarding her family superstitious and following blind faith, and how can she help them come into the light of truth and find the truth, the loving true god. "𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜" Share on WhatsApp⇗ The following was written in response to a query we received on our Samadhan WhatsApp group in April 2025. So please read the following in the same context. "It is not how well the message is received, but how well is it delivered" Whether your intention is to serve and show the "path of truth" or just to make yourself look superior. You asked here: "How should i deal with people around me being superstitious regarding god?" ANSWER: See their "love" for god as the underlying fabric unto which they have build their FAITH and even their BLINDFAITH. 🌻When you see that they truly LOVE god... just as you do, you will feel the 'connection'... Yes, they are yet 'unaware' of many things and they do act under blind-faith... Following a superstition blindly does no good indeed, only subjugate you to those superstitious beliefs. Make you play the victim, feel helpless & beg to god...for what is inherently YOURS! Do not ask god for peace & happiness ... YOU ARE peace, truth, love and joy itself. You are made of what god is made of. 🌺The first purpose of giving KNOWLEDGE is to free the seeker from such subjugations. You are not to be controlled by the rules, YOU ARE THE CREATOR of rules... that God does not demand such superstitious beliefs or doing, nor blind faith. Second 🌳Whenever such a situation appear, first be 'aware' of it... Would your speaking or giving their right knowledge help them? OR are they likely to resist and be hurt? Definitely try to explain it 'politely' and 'wisely' but do not engage in an argument... you are not to prove yourself right here. 🪻Your work here is to simple try and show them the 'path of truth' and explain them that God does not need you to perform rituals and engage in superstitions... God always and unfailingly helps and guided all of us, through many ways >> we do not need to beg for what is already given! 🪴Instead, do good karma, help others in need >> Thats what god would like you to do... Not to donate to wealthy temples, but help the needy, house the homeless, and feed the hungry. Yes, there are some temples and religious organisations who utilise their donation money in feeding the hungry and similar acts of kindness. But there are even better ways to utilise your money. Find them. ☝️This is the way to explain... "Be a messenger, not a debater" Faith vs Blind faith Faith is like trusting the GPS when you’re driving somewhere new—you follow it even if you don’t know every turn, because it’s gotten you places before. It gives you hope when life feels shaky, like believing things will get better after a rough patch or trusting a friend’s advice even when you’re unsure. This kind of faith is flexible; it leaves room for questions, growth, and adapting when new information comes along. It’s what helps people take risks, build relationships, or find peace in uncertainty. Blind faith, though, is like closing your eyes and stepping into traffic because someone told you it’s safe. It’s sticking to a belief no matter what, even if facts, experiences, or your gut scream otherwise. Maybe it’s refusing to question a toxic relationship because “it’s meant to be,” or following a leader’s every word without thinking for yourself. Blind faith shuts down curiosity and can trap people in harmful patterns—staying in a job that drains them, ignoring red flags in ideologies, or clinging to traditions that no longer make sense. Both shape our choices, but in wildly different ways. Healthy faith acts like an anchor—steady but not suffocating. It encourages courage, kindness, and resilience. Blind faith, though, can become a cage. It breeds fear of doubt, stifles progress, and sometimes lets others take advantage of our trust. The key difference? Faith asks us to trust while staying awake—to reflect, learn, and adjust. Blind faith tells us to just stop thinking. In a world full of noise and quick fixes, knowing the difference can mean choosing a life that’s purposeful, not passive Share on WhatsApp⇗ Read next: Finding Motivation & Faith ———————————— 𝐵𝑒 𝐵𝓁𝑒𝓈𝓈𝑒𝒹..✨ Oᑎ ᘜOᗪᒪY SᗴᖇᐯIᑕᗴ, 𝕸𝖆𝖓𝖆𝖌𝖊𝖗, 𝕾𝖆𝖒𝖆𝖉𝖍𝖆𝖓, 𝕾𝖍𝖎𝖛 𝕭𝖆𝖇𝖆 𝕾𝖊𝖗𝖛𝖎𝖈𝖊𝖘 𝕴𝖓𝖎𝖙𝖎𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖛𝖊 (SBSI)0048
- Mind and Brain DifferenceIn Question Answers·28 May 2021Here is pointwise difference between brain (of body) and the mind (of the Soul). Answer: Brain is a physical organ of this body. Brian is the operator between your entire body (organs, senses) and the mind of soul. Understand that clearly. Just as an operator connects 2 different things, such that the 'brain' connects 'body' and the 'mind' of the soul. In this way, I the soul is ''indirectly'' working and using this body - via the mind - then via the brain. See how great work our creator has done. This all process happens in almost no time. While mind is an internal property of Soul. Through this faculty (mind), the Soul can visualise, remember things and organise the pieces of information. So this called mind is without a form. While brain definitely has a form and size. Mind is higher dimensional. Soul - The director/commander/chairman/president Intellect - The co-chairman/judge of what is right and wrong Mind - The Prime Minister (the working CEO) Brain - The operator and controller of senses Senses - Produces and sends us signals of hot and cold, comfort and discomfort, etc. Organs - Makes up the body and its functions. This is the HOLY creation for the Soul. This is how we live. One can say - Mind is the most used facility of me the Soul. Intellect is used to make decisions. Brain is constantly used during the day. To find the answer to your question, please begin with below message: Firstly - it is right and good that you atleast recognised that anger is an enemy. And yes, you may also would have felt guilty after this. This is the natural sign that one must immediately see. God has given a great gift - we will feel bad when we do something against our original nature (of peace, of purity, of love and so..) So now what to do? You know yourself better. Do you believe that you really wish to be healed and you wish to experience the original self ? You must take a decision now. You study at school, knowing that if you pass, you will move ahead.. Similar is life - if you pass situations and challenges, you move ahead. Otherwise, you have to stay in the same class to learn the lesson again - Understood? If one fails once (at the first go), it is a chance instead to learn and experience the subject even deeper. So take this opportunity. Learning from this mistake, you now give even more respect to others, more love and become more gentle. Know that nature is most gentle. Overthinking involves excessive, repetitive thinking about past events OR future uncertainties, often leading to worry and stress. If overthinking is not healed, the feelings of anxiety, a condition characterized by excessive fear, worry, and apprehension about various aspects of life is amplified and then reflected in our daily life. If not healed in its early phase, overthinking and anxiety can create a vicious cycle, leading to difficulties in decision-making, sleep disturbances, and a decreased quality of life. Addressing these issues often requires a combination of cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness meditation, and, in some cases, professional therapeutic interventions. 🪴I see that the base of your query is the issue of "overthinking". Not necessarily getting "bad thoughts" but just having too many 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦/𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 thoughts at once, is a hindrance in experiencing ᑭEᗩᑕE of mind and ᑕᒪᗩᖇITY in thoughts. 🌷This “over-thinking” habit is root cause of all that. If you can overcome this habit, life becomes much 𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕚𝕖𝕣, 𝕤𝕚𝕞𝕡𝕝𝕖, 𝕖𝕟𝕛𝕠𝕪𝕒𝕓𝕝𝕖 & 𝕣𝕖𝕨𝕒𝕣𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘. After reading the following post, we highly recommend you to go through our complete guidance to healing depression. 🌿Here is our guidance on 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦. ————————————— 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 🌈𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 involves developing 𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 of your thought patterns, challenging negative thoughts, and redirecting your focus/energy to important aspects of life. Here are 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟵 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 to help you overcome overthinking👉 1● 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Practice mindfulness to stay present in the moment. Meditation can help you observe your thoughts without getting caught up in them, and therefore achieve 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢 and 𝚌𝚕𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚢 in thoughts. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐘𝐨𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 2● 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 Question the validity of negative thoughts. Ask yourself if there is evidence to support them and consider alternative, more 𝚋𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚍 perspectives. Always try to see the "bright side" in every situation. 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 the negative thoughs with "positive" ones at the same time they occur in your mind. This is a constant training of the mind. 3● 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Shift your focus from dwelling on problems to actively seeking solutions. Identify actionable steps you can take to address the issue. 4● 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 Regularly remind yourself of things you are grateful for. Shifting your focus to "positive" aspects of your life can naturally reduce overthinking. 5● 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘆 Engage in activities that you love & that whichs capture your attention and keeps you occupied. A busy mind is less likely to oer-create thoughts. 6● 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Avoid setting unrealistically high standards for yourself or external situations. 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩-𝐛𝐲-𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 instead of trying to reach the final aim directly. Accept that mistakes are part of the learning process. 7● 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 Engage in regular exercise. Physical activity does make you 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 and contribute to a more 𝚋𝚊𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚍 mental state. 8● 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 Designate specific time every day for self-reflection, problem-solving or 𝚍𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚜𝚒𝚘𝚗-𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐. Once the time is up, consciously shift your focus to prevent excessive thoughts. 9● 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 Practice being fully present in the NOW moment. Avoid thinking about the past, or getting lost in the future. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫: The only real moment is the NOW moment. If you make the best of the NOW, it truly becomes a PRESENT and serves you in the future. ———————————— 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠? Spiritual Answer: It could be a "𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚜𝚔𝚊𝚛" of a soul to create many thoughts at once, to worry or over think... If you take a pause, the very root of this is the feeling we call 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿. - How to Awaken my Kundalini? In Question Answers·28 May 2021How to awakening my Kundalini Shakti through Rajyoga meditation? Here is the email response given by us. Original Email Received Dear Sir/Madam I would really appreciate it if you help me on the matter In which I am looking for, I am looking for a way to awaken my kundalini, but the thing is, I'm clueless on how to do it by myself. I am 20/21 years old, I study law at university, and it is now been 2 years in which I was looking for a way or some guidance on this matter, i know you do not have a responsibility, but I would be extremely and forever grateful if you would help me on this matter for the sake of good karma. I live in London. I would greatly appreciate it if you do not discourage me in pursuing the kundalini awakening, or tell me to wait for years before I attempt to open it, some people like to go slow, some people like to go more intensely, that is me, if I do not succeed to find a teacher I will do everything in my power to forcefully awaken it on my own, because that is the only way if I do not have a teacher, and I am extremely determined to get access to this energy. Thank you very much in advance. Yours Faithfully Our Email Response To: erfan & Everyone Reading this Dear Divine Brother/Sister Your email letter is received and read. Here is our response. You have a lot of enthusiasm for developing yourself spiritually. But, we do not practice this kind of yoga at Brahmakumaris. This is a spiritual organisation where we follow easy Rajyog. It is practiced not only at a particular time of the day but also throughout the day while doing all your other worldly tasks. It involves no physical movement of the body but instead focus on the connection between we the human souls and God, the supreme soul. It directly starts from the crown chakra where the soul resides, and goes higher to connect with supreme energy (God). If you are so keen to make this journey of self-transformation, why not start directly from the top (crown chakra) instead of taking the time to move the energy levels from the bottom (root chakra)? - Duty (Dharma) vs Passion (Desire)In Question Answers·10 May 2025Introduction: The eternal dance between duty (dharma) and passion (the heart’s call) lies at the core of human existence, a dilemma as ancient as philosophy itself. Dharma, rooted in traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism, embodies the moral principles and cosmic order—the responsibilities, ethics, and roles that bind individuals to society and the universe. Yet, equally compelling is the heart’s calling, an inner pull toward authenticity, creativity, and purpose that defies rigid structures. This dichotomy raises a profound question: Must we sacrifice personal longing for collective obligation, or can these forces coexist harmoniously? From Arjuna’s crisis in the Bhagavad Gita to modern existential dilemmas, humanity has sought pathways to honor both the soul’s fire and the weight of earthly duty. This article post beautifully explains how aligning dharma with passion is not a compromise but a sacred integration—a journey to live fully and responsibly. "𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜" Share on WhatsApp⇗ The following was written in response to a query we received on our Samadhan WhatsApp group in May 2025. So please read the following in the same context. ———————————— Foreword This would be our most helpful guidance given on 'finding a balance' b/w life and spirituality. Please read this with utmost attention. Read it again and again till it fully dissolves in your heart. This will feel relevant to many and most of you, so please 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 this message to others. Managing family responsibilities (earthly duty), personal aspirations (heart's call), and spiritual growth (life's purpose)—requires a 'balanced' approach. Your situation is quite pivotal. What you choose now will impact your 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎 & 𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚕 𝚓𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚢. Hence, in order to give you a complete & helpful guidance, i am going to use the THREE basic principles of life as mentioned in the ancient Indian scriptures: 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 (धर्म - 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆) Supporting your family during a financial crisis aligns with the principle of DHARMA (धर्म), as it embodies the moral principles and cosmic order—the responsibilities, ethics, and roles that bind individuals to societal order and the universe. Dharma is your 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚊𝚜𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎’𝚜 𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚎. Spiritually speaking, a human being's DHARMA is mainly divided into 4 parts: • सत्य (Living with Truth, in your speech and vision) • अहिंसा (Non-violence in your actions/behavior & thoughts) • प्रेम (Selfless love for all beings) • दान (Charity/Generosity to the needy) 𝘿𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨: "Talk". Open a heartfelt dialogue with your parents to understand their perspective and needs. They may value your emotional well-being over immediate financial contributions. See if they need your help and ask them HOW. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮 (अर्थ -𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵) Money is surely important, as it ensures a comfortable survival and a financial freedom. At times, money helps you in fulfilling your dream and even in helping others. Artha is 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚞𝚒𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚠𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚑, 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚎𝚜, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚞𝚌𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚜. 𝘿𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨: Consider 'practical steps' to contribute—such as 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵-𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 (e.g., graphic design, digital arts, or art therapy). These fields offer income while keeping you connected to your passion. This is called balancing the heart and the mind. Refer: Manifesting Wealth 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮 (काम-𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲) 𝙹𝚘𝚢, 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚛𝚎. The persuit of your desire (heart's calling and life-purpose) is all embodied under this third Purusharth of human life. Kama (desire) is the pursuit of emotional, sensory, and aesthetic fulfillment, encompassing love, pleasure, creativity, and the enjoyment of life’s beauty. When you listen to your inner voice, your intuition, the heart's calling—you are going with the natural flow of life. Living this way, you source your joy from the process, live in the moment, and learn to enjoy every scene of life. As they say: "Do what you love and enjoy" 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 Since you are at early stage of life, we can advise you on career options that can help you 'balance' your passion, and also ensure a good income. Let's call it a 'hybrid' path. ➤𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 Pursue art (listen to your heart's call) while also developing popular 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠—to enhance employability. Use the internet to earn money 'displaying' and 'selling' your art: 𝙾𝚗𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚏𝚘𝚕𝚒𝚘𝚜, 𝚜𝚘𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝚖𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚊 & 𝚏𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚜. Part 2 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 & 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 Understand that spirituality does not ask you to give up the earthly duties. But indeed, when you become more 'aware' of your spiritual identity, when you GROW spiritually, you also become more 'aligned' to your 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎-𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚎 and—life will become simpler, struggles will begin to end, and you will grow out stronger & wiser from every experience of life. Therefore, BE BRAVE... Do not see life's struggles as an 'obstacle' to your spiritual growth, but they are catalysts. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 '𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫'. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 '𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫'... 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐡! God has never left you alone, and never will. You only need to "surrender" and let the 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚌𝚎 guide you through the lights and shadows of life. "LET GO & LET GOD" ➤ 𝙏𝙍𝙐𝙎𝙏: Trust that you are always safe. There is no way you will miss your 'spiritual growth' in trying to provide for your family, or in chasing your dream... 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞. That is why you are here. Trust that IT WILL HAPPEN, no matter what struggles otherwise suggest. According to the ancient Indian philosophy, there are four main Purushārthas for a human being: • Dharma (धर्म) – "𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚊𝚜𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎’𝚜 𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚎." Like the North Star, it keeps your actions just, your word true, and your heart aligned with cosmic order. • Artha (अर्थ) – "𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚞𝚒𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚠𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚝𝚑, 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚌𝚎𝚜, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚞𝚌𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚜." Not greed of wealth, but honest prosperity—so you can feed your family, do charity, support community, and save for the time. • Kāma (काम) – "𝙹𝚘𝚢, 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚏𝚞𝚕 𝚍𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚍𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚛𝚎." From the laughter of children to the poetry of romance, it reminds you that life without 'pleasure' is a song without melody. • Moksha (मोक्ष) – "𝙻𝚒𝚋𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚢𝚌𝚕𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚋𝚒𝚛𝚝𝚑 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑." The ultimate exit door, where the soul flies free of all earthly bondages (the cycle of birth & death) and merges back into Brahman (the infinite 𝚜𝚞𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚖𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜). "𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨" It is when the soul is tested to its limit that it GROW beyond the limit... And you will feel the 'closest' you ever did to god during these times. You will feel 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝, 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝. When you follow this path, amidst chaos you will be 'at peace' and that god will do all your work, bring you out to the light. This is the holy promise. 🍀So go on, 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲, 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 '𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬' 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. Trust that there is 'light' at the end of this tunnel, awaiting the BEST OF YOU... And that this 'process' of life is blessed to awaken THE BEST IN YOU. Tip: Read our post Testing Times are Blessed Times (after reading the current article) ———————————— 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 Here are our practical suggestions you should immediately follow: 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩-𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙢 Explore flexible income sources (𝚏𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚝, 𝚝𝚞𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚍𝚒𝚐𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚕 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚝) to 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 the financial-stress without giving up your passion (long-term goals). 𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙜-𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙢 Research creative industries with 'growth potential' and build a 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨. Find inspiring people in 𝐚𝐫𝐭 and stay connected to 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. Connect with like-minded people through social media and forums. 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 Dedicate time daily to 'meditation' (RajYog). Self-empowerment, connecting with the supreme, giving Sakash to your family, following spiritual principles—this is your priority. Everything else is second. Through meditation, seek 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. Bring out 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 into your creative work (job) to merge art and spirituality. ✶𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻: 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘧𝘶𝘭, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘶𝘮 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 (𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺/𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴).
