Every situation and scene in front of us has so many possibilities in terms of how we perceive and interpret. If someone is 10% selfish and 90% generous what should we focus on, what should we perceive first within them? Most of us are now well trained to perceive and focus on the negative, the selfishness in others, and to follow it quickly with accusation and judgement. • Sacrificing The Ego (P2) | Brahma Kumaris Messages

Sacrificing The Ego (Part 2) : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2025-02-16 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ Sacrificing The Ego (Part 2) Whenever you come into contact with another person, see to it that you are yourself but at the same time you give the other person space by letting him or her be themselves. What that means is that let the other person express themselves in a way they want to and not necessarily in a way that you want them to express or act. They shouldn’t be a puppet in your hands. Tell them, guide them, but always be ready to sacrifice your opinion, viewpoint, attachment to your virtue, or particular sanskara which you think is absolutely right and perfect. ➤Also, be ready to let the other person’s opinion rule the situation involving the two of you. Some people find this as the most difficult thing to do in a relationship and this requires spiritual power and also a lot of love inside you for the other person. Also, we need qualities like humility and contentment, which are extremely important. We are talking about any relationship – at home or in your friend circle or anywhere else; with the opposite gender or with the same gender; with your child or with your boss, with a friend or with your spouse. ➤There is a fine line between remaining in high self-esteem about what you think is right and what you know about a particular situation and letting the other person also contribute in that thought process. What that means is you need to allow the other person to enter that personal space of your thought process. Very often we construct walls around our thinking process and don’t let the other person enter it because of the fear that the other person might dominate that space and also the attachment to one’s own space. ➤Remember the ones who bow down and are comfortable with people’s views and give them as much respect as their own opinions and view points are the rulers of everyone’s hearts. People are not ruled by power but their hearts are filled with love to get their love and respect in return. And that happens by keeping the other ahead of you in interactions not only on a physical level but also on a thought level and the level of emotions. (Continues tomorrow...) Suggested ➔ "Online RajYog Course" Quote of the day "Being willing to learn brings progress" Thoughts : When someone corrects us or gives us advice, we often resist them. We become unwilling to listen further. When we put in so much effort, we may not be able to listen to others' advice. This attitude does not help us learn and move forward. Process : To experience continuous improvement, I need to be willing to learn and have an open mind. When I have this mindset, I learn from everything that happens. Then I can improve on every task. 5 Tips For Hurry-Free Life : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2025-01-27 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ 5 Tips For Hurry-Free Life 1● 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐀 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – A common response to negative situations is to immediately think more and that creates a hurry in actions. Stopping whatever you are doing and creating a few thoughts of peace, positivity, and power at that time, helps in slowing down the thoughts and keeping them focused and free from hurry. 2● 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 – The best way to slow down your thoughts in the entire day is to begin your day with a deep connection with God – The Ocean Of Peace and Silence. In the morning our mind is very fresh and if we make it silent with meditation at that time, the whole day is influenced because of that and we hurry less and work more. 3● 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 & 𝐑𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 – We hurry when suddenly a situation comes in front of us, which expects more from us than we are used to. At such times, we feel there is very little time and we hurry. We need to instead go inwards and stretch time by being flexible and then begin our work again with a new timetable of tasks than our regular one. This will reduce our hurry. 4● 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗔 𝗙𝗲𝘄 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 – Sometimes, when we are at work or in our families and there are lots to do and there are many unfinished tasks and time deadlines, it’s good to link your mind and intellect with God and take His guidance, which makes us stable and free from the hurry and it also makes our mind more organised and efficient. 5● 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 & 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐨 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 – One of the reasons our thoughts are more all the time and we also feel tired and hurried that, is that we begin our day with the newspaper and television and in the entire day think and discuss a lot about what others are doing, which is not necessary. We need to avoid this and read, talk, and listen more positively and economically. Suggested ➔ Read: "Patience: The Virtue" Quote of the day "The power of mental determination brings all thoughts to fruition" Thought : There are many thoughts in our minds that need to be put into practice immediately. These thoughts come to us according to the demands of the time or based on the people we come in contact with. But, the only way to put these thoughts into practice is to use the power of determination. Where there is determination, there is the determination to use all the resources available to realize that thought. Experience : When I can use the power of mental determination, I can realize my inner potential and use it in the right way. So I can experience my progress because all my thoughts are for my own self-improvement , and these thoughts come into practice naturally. I will not give up on any temporary setbacks. But I can do everything continuously to improve myself. Previous Next day

  • Co-operation for a Joyful World (Part 2) | Brahma Kumaris Messages

5 Steps of Co-operation for A Joyful World (Part 2) : Daily Thoughts & Awakening Messages for your spiritual upliftment by Brahma Kumaris Sustenance team. ⇦Messages 2023-07-01 SHARE⇗ ⇦ ⇨ 5 Steps of Co-operation for A Joyful World (Part 2) 2 ● 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 ➤ A very important and easy beginning to making a world full of happiness is to create an atmosphere of lightness and positivity in your home and office. Let’s say, your family members or office colleagues are facing some problems because of which they experience sorrow, share with them positive thoughts of success and determination everyday. The more everyone is filled with positive information, the more everyone’s perspective to life’s different situations will change and they will become more positive. Various beliefs about life and its different situations, which are the cause of many stressful emotions, change when positivity is injected into everyone’s minds regularly. Also, a primary cause of sorrow is remembering old negative experiences that have happened with us in the past. Train everyone at home and office to remember positive scenes of life with lightness and enthusiasm and forget the bad experiences as older negative scenes that have drifted into the past will never happen again. 3 ● 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 ➤ A most important personality characteristic that all of us should imbibe is one of giving and caring and ensuring that everyone I meet is blessed positively while meeting me. In other words, give a blessing to everyone each day. The more we give blessings, the more happy people will feel in our presence. A blessing is a power or quality or a few sweet words of love and goodness. Look at everyone with a loveful and sweet vision and share your inner niceness and good wishes through your smile. Also, give a soft greeting of love to everyone. Become rich with happiness and make others rich with the same. Caring, sharing and giving this way will spread happiness and make the atmosphere around you full of love and enthusiasm and free from worry, stress and sadness. (To be continued tomorrow...) Suggested ➔ Shri Krishna Birth Quote of the day "The habit of thinking positive finishes negative" Expression : Just as it has become a habit of thinking negative, a positive habit when created will naturally bring about a change. A little practice and attention to form a habit of thinking positive will reveal its result of creating an influence of positivity . The situations will not change on their own, but the habit that has been formed will bring about a change in the response and will change the situation too. Experience : Usually it becomes very difficult or sometimes impossible for me to think positive in difficult situations. At that time, although I want to, the response that emerges from within is based on the habit that is formed previously. So when I make the habit of constantly and consciously thinking positive , I then become free from the struggle of having to change my mind to positive in difficult situations. Previous Next day

They had a good relationship, up until the point where the husband started disliking her and blaming her for things. So as Farzana explained, it was a 'one-sided' issue, where she herself did not indulge much in the conflict, but is willing to HEAL this relationship. In response, we first clarified her situation, then gave a few spiritual & practical insights... followed by a brief to detailed guidance on the role of '𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬' in making or breaking a relationship, the role of our 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬, and the power of the 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 and '𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞' that can heal.
