Selfless Service: The Way

Selfless service emerges when we perform our duties and actions without attachment to personal gain or recognition—doing your work 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Measure yourself by the "sincerity of your intention" and the "quality of your effort", not by applause or outcomes. Stay 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 in success and failure, and keep moving toward what is right.

The highest form of action occurs when we "align" our service with our natural abilities and life circumstances, and perform our role with complete sincerity. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬: A 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘳 who educates with love, a 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 who nurtures without expectations, or a 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳 who works without seeking praise. The key lies in understanding that 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 (𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚) 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. When we serve in this spirit, 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱.
