𝟭. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 ➤ Find a journal or notebook that you like and dedicate it specifically to your gratitude diary. It can be a simple notebook or something more elaborate—it's entirely up to you.
𝟮. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 ➤ Decide on a frequency for writing in your gratitude diary. It could be daily, a few times a week, or even once a week. Consistency is key, so choose a schedule that you can realistically commit to.

𝟴. 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 ➤ Don't limit yourself to just one type of gratitude. Consider incorporating different aspects of your life, such as relationships, accomplishments, personal growth, nature, or acts of kindness.
𝟵. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 ➤ If you're having difficulty starting, you can use prompts or categories to guide your gratitude entries. For example, you could focus on gratitude for health, relationships, achievements, or personal qualities.
𝟭𝟬. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 ➤ Occasionally, look back at your previous entries to remind yourself of the things you've been grateful for. It can be uplifting and serve as a reminder of the positive aspects of your life.
➤ Remember, the goal of a gratitude diary is to cultivate a positive mindset and appreciate the good things in your life. By consistently practicing gratitude, you can develop a more optimistic outlook and enhance your overall well-being.
➤ Also, I need to revisit my gratitude diary from time to time, and read its older pages, which I had written, say one month ago, a year ago, or even a few years ago. This is because the more we are aware of life's goodness and the more we remember it again and again, we feel happy for what we have and not be unhappy with what we don't have.

"The method to finish waste thoughts is to deal with the mind with love"
Expression: When there are waste thoughts in the mind that one tries to stop, it becomes difficult to do that. There is discomfort and difficulty experienced. On the other hand, when the mind is taught to take the right direction with love, there is a quick and dramatic change.
Experience: When I learn the art of speaking to my mind with love, I am able to free myself from waste thoughts without any feelings of suppression. Concentration too becomes easy and all thoughts are directed towards the right direction.
