Conquer the Mind & Maya

Conquer the Mind

The Bhagavad Gita reveals that conquering vices requires "inner discipline" and "wisdom" over force. God teaches that ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ, ๐˜จ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ, ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ญ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ต are the three gates of maya, born from attachment and ego. Victory comes not through ๐Š๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐˜๐จ๐  (performing all actions with love of god while remaining detached from results).

By practising ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ-๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ, regular ๐ฆ๐ž๐๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐˜ฅ๐˜ฉ๐˜บ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ข), and ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐ž (เคจเคฟเคธเฅเคตเคพเคฐเฅเคฅ เคธเฅ‡เคตเคพ เคฏเคพ เค•เคฐเฅเคฎเคฏเฅ‹เค—), we gradually purify the mind and transcend lower impulses. Ultimately, we realise our true nature beyond the temporary fluctuations of pleasure and pain.
