The key is "to stay in charge" of yourself. Gently bring your attention inward.

Visualise your true self: a radiant, star-like point of light at the centre of your forehead. This is the soulโ€”youโ€”distinct from the body you inhabit. The more you practice this awareness, even for just a few moments a day, the more easily youโ€™ll return to your natural state of peace.
