What is Importance of Karma?
This is our answer given on the "Samadhan" WhatsApp group in February 2023. Titled: "๐ธ๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ช๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ต๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ?"
โ ๐๐ท๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐ป:
To understand action (karma), one must know the "categories" in which "Karma" is divided.
โ๏ธThe 3 main categories are:
โฅ good action (เคชเฅเคฃเฅเคฏ เคเคฐเฅเคฎ)
โฅ bad action (เคชเคพเคช เคเคฐเฅเคฎ)
โฅ balanced action (เค เคเคฐเฅเคฎ)
๐ฑThe first 2 (good & bad karma are generally understood by everyone) >> of course, everyone would have a different idea to categorise a karma in "good" and "bad" categories.
But เค เคเคฐเฅเคฎ (non-action or balanced action) is merely a state in which we do not create a Karmic account when we do a karma... this only happens when a soul is using its "Sanskaar" while doing a karma in a "detached" state of mind (in the awareness of being a SOUL and not expecting a result/fruit of the action)
๐ดAlright... not coming to the answer >> There is hence, no importance of karma/action when we are in our soul-form (not have a physical body) >> but when we are in this body, karma cannot be avoided... there is no way you can "not do a karma" >> this world itself is a Karma-bhumi (place to perform deeds)
๐ณIn order to sustain life itself, one must act... and then there is karma which is done in order to get a result... we walk a road in order to get to somewhere... Karma is performed so that its result (fruit) is obtained. Human beings desire a specific fruit... whether it is fruit of happiness, love, wisdom, power... but in order to get these, one must ACT towards it.
๐พBut we need not to go in any details, for you can understand this wisdom by churning (thinking deeply) on what is said above.
