Karma is Energy (Explained)

Karma is often misunderstood as a cosmic scoreboard of reward and punishment, but its essence runs far deeper—it is the 'living energy' of our choices, rippling through time and space. Every thought you create & hold, every word you speak, and every deed you act—sends off a ripple to the universe, which them comes back to you. The "intention" behind the karma is what decide its result.

This article/post explains the idea that karma is not fate, but a dynamic force we co-create with every thought, word, and deed. Drawing from ancient wisdom and spiritual understanding derived through various sources—we will explore how aligning with karmic energy can transform patterns of suffering into opportunities for growth, and mainly that "how does karma come back to you"

The following was written in response to a question we received on our Samadhan WhatsApp group in April 2024.

Question: I have heard that the souls with whom we have the deepest karmic accounts often returns to us in this life as 'spouse'. So my question is: What if i decide not to marry in this birth? Would it stop the karmic cycle? and if no, then how else would my karma be settled?

Answer

We are going to make everything very clear to you, in this brief response:

Lets begin from KARMA:

"The energy you send out to the universe is returned to you" (This is what people call "law of karma" in common view)

That returning energy can come through people in your connection. And it could be anyone (doesn't have to be a spouse or children). Human being here becomes a medium for that energy to come back to you.

Now imagine you separate yourself from everyone, literally. Do you know what would happen?---You will still receive the energy back (you always do), but this time it would be directly to your door. Your mind and heart will go through those emotions and feelings (which you given out to others in past). And this could be both POSITIVE and NEGATIVE.

When it is 'positive' it is all good... but when negative experience visits you when you are living alone, you would not even realise WHY this is happening. Because you cannot see the 'source' of it... This is the secret why people go mad (loose their normal sense) when they live alone for a long time. Because the energy is returning, but invisible.

(When that energy was coming through a person, it was visible and made sense. Even the intensity is lower, as the medium absorbs some of it)

This is why relationships are the greatest gift from god. Only we human beings have this gift. Good and healthy (positive) relationships with everyone around can make your life a living 'heaven'

MARRIAGE

Now we come to your enquiry on 'marriage'.

No, marriage is not a compulsion. Whether for man or woman. What is important is that you correctly understand the 'purpose' of marriage. It is not for a man to find 'stability' and the woman to find 'security'---but for both of them to find a lifelong companion with whom you can SHARE your abundance, to whom you can express yourself fully, and you can support, helping eachother to navigate life with joy and growth. Marriage is indeed a HOLY COMMUNION, if you could keep it that way.

But yes, there is another aspect of marriage >> "household responsibilities" >> that can certainly deviate you from intense purusharth (spiritual journey) >> But with time as you keep on the spiritual path, you will see how situations become easier and you become STRONGER... Those responsibilities are not meant to deviate you, but to bring you back >> Not meant to take a part from you, but to complete you... Sometimes challenges come, not to break you, but to strengthen your trust (faith) and to make you completely dependent on GOD alone...
