We all need healing. Sometimes, we are able to forgive ourself but not another person (and vice versa). But true healing is when we can forgive and bless every soul (myself and every other soul in picture), while taking the essential 'lesson' from the situation. Forgiving yourself and another person is a powerful step towards emotional healing and personal spiritual growth.
When we hold onto feelings of guilt, shame, or resentment, we carry an 'emotional burden' that can limit our ability to move forward. By learning to practice self-compassion and extend the same love & empathy to others, we release negative energies that stand in the way of inner peace and stronger relationships. This article/post explores practical steps toward true forgiveness, offering 'insights' on how it can transform your life.

🌷Forgiveness is a process, whether forgiving yourself or another person. In any case, 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 is essential. When you see yourself with a gentle eye of compassion, it is easy to see how everyone can make unintentional mistakes, as 𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 '𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡' 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥. Therefore, when you learn to love & forgive yourself, you also learn to easily forgive others.
🌈Moreover, by forgiving the myself (or another person), i am only helping myself 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫. Forgiveness is VERY POWERFUL... It not only releases you from the 𝙠𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚, but also begins the 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬! You can heal your-self and the other person by taking the first step.
🌳The core of forgiveness is 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟, 𝕗𝕒𝕚𝕣𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤, 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘. The one who is 'wise' and 'thoughtful' is a natural 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫. Building 'self compassion' involves 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧

To forgive yourself, acknowledge your mistakes without judgment, learn from them, and embrace the understanding that everyone grows through error & realisation. Practice self-compassion by recognizing your 'humanity' and consciously choosing to release guilt, shifting focus toward what (and how) you can do better from now.

This involves empathizing with their imperfections, seeing their actions in context (the given situation), and understanding that holding onto resentment harms you more than them. By genuinely wishing for their well-being and choosing to let go of anger, you pave the way for 𝚒𝚗𝚗𝚎𝚛 𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚎 and 𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝚏𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚍𝚘𝚖.
