Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) have long fascinated spiritual seekers, philosophers, scientists, and mystics. This extraordinary out-of-body spiritual experience of—floating above your physical body, going through a dark tunnel, encountering a brilliant white light (understood to be 'god' or the 'creator'), and feeling an overwhelming sense of 'peace'—is commonly reported by NDE survivors.
Such an "out of body" experience is truly profound and lifechanging; as it offer a glimpse of what sages have called "the ultimate reality" which otherwise cannot be seen or understood in this physical realm. So in this article post, you will learn something specific about NDEs. You will learn "how we never stop creating our experience of reality, even after leaving the body".
And to learn more about NDE, please visit our well-researched Near Death Experiences article.

✶FOREWORD: This one is truly an 'eye-opening' answer and understanding on NDE and OBE, and learning the secrets of 'creation' and how we experience our reality while in the body & out of it. Must read & 'share' to others.
Question:
Regarding Near-Death Experiences (NDE) and 𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴 of NDE survivors➙These are all foreigners who are sharing their NDE experience, but I have also heard real stories of some Indians whose experiences were not as pleasant. Most claimed that they saw frightening figure "yam duta" and the soul journey after death was mostly unpleasant.
Hinduism and Sikhism mainly favour this philosophy of 'Yam-duta' and difficult journey of soul after death. Only 'punya atma' (charitable souls) go to heaven, while others are bound to suffer. Even Islam & Christianty favours similar 'fear-based' afterlife belief. They call it 'the judgement day'.
𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬:
Is soul's after death journey decided by the 'religion' a soul followed during its lifetime? Like if the soul has followed Christianity (as most people who shared their NDE were Christians), they will see the "golden-white light" and have a plesant experience, while most of the Hindus, Muslims & Sikhs reported 'unpleasant' experience.
➙So what is the 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢 of NDE and 'how' does it all happen?
The Answer
🌼Firstly—do accept a word of appreciation... 'very good'... you have understood many things correctly here. It is generally seen that the nature & details of NDE varied from people to people, culture to culture, and faith to faith.
🌺So in the Hindu religion, it is believed widely on 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑 & 𝚕𝚒𝚏𝚎... They have a fixed belief on all this... Many strongly believe in a 𝐲𝐚𝐦-𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐚 (deity of death) who comes at the time of death, who then takes you to Yumlok for a 'divine judgement' from god, after which you shall be 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐝 and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐝 in 'heaven' or 'hell' as per your Karma. This is how many religions (not only Hinduism) has described the afterlife.
🍁And yes, such deep belief is what influence and sponsor our 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. It has a large influence on your overall experience, or whether shall you see "the white light" (𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, the supreme soul) or not. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, if you believe that god is a beautiful looking young man with a 'flute' in hand and a 'peacock feather' on his head, then you will have that experience, you will see god as Krishna... And this is the point..."𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝."
🌈Therefore, the way to experience god as it really is—is 𝐛𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 '𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭' 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 and your 'inner belief' and 'faith' will then guide your heart and create your experience... Because the soul always (eternally) KNOWS what it is, who the creator is, and what is the purpose. It is deeply 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 in your soul, in your 'intuition'.
🪴All you need to KNOW here (in order to derive the truth about of al NDE) is that >> '𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞'
🍀There are FOUR factors that largely influence our 'out of body' (and 'near-death') experience. They are: 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟, 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐫 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝.
★ 𝙃𝙊𝙒?
All this beliefs, our thoughts, state of mind is creating the 𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐀 of the soul... we all have an aura... and 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲... and so the more our aura is 'aligned' with god's aura, the closer we are to the 𝐠𝐨𝐝-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, the more of the "ultimate reality" we can see and experience.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟯 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
Just as we 'create' our 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞-experience as we are in the body, we do create our 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞-experience. The 'process of creation' does not stop even after leaving the body... In us is built an eternal system of CREATION, and there is no way we can stop creating our reality... Whether you are here or there, in the body or out of it, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 as long as it 'thinks'... the 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 is the 'seed' of creation. Every thought holds 'creative power'.
☘️Now, as after leaving the body, there are only 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 (for a soul) to experience reality. (This is very important to understand, and so may i ask your total attention). They are:
ONE: "𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀"
You may 'submit' to your own 'uncontrolled' thoughts, arising from your 'past sanskar' and your present state of mind. This can be both 'pleasant' and 'unpleasant' depending on the nature of your 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴, 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧 & 𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘬𝘢𝘳.
TWO: "𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀"
You may 'consciously' create thoughts and feelings that would create 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞... 'Think' and it shall 'appear' in front of you... this is called 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗.
THREE: "𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀"
When you surrender to the 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, you may experience what we may call "collective consciousness" (the ultimate reality), which is also known as 𝙉𝙞𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙖. This is 𝐫𝐞-𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 with all existence, being ONE with all that is.
🌳This, and more, is clearly and beautifully explained in this audio clip, taken from the world bestselling book '𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝' written by 𝘕𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘥 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘤𝘩.
