(Basics) How To Meditate (Part 1)
Sit comfortably. Relax your body and keep your back straight. Read over the following words slowly and silently. Create the same thoughts as the words and visualize them also side-by-side. Experience them deeply in your mind:
I focus on myself, a soul, a golden star, a point of spiritual light.
I see myself at the center of my forehead, just above my eyebrows.
I radiate the golden rays of peace in all directions.
In this awareness of I, the soul, with the power of my mind, I can travel beyond the limits of my physical sense organs.
I visualize myself gradually travelling outside this physical body and flying upwards, outside the room I am in...
I, the sparkling star-like energy, see myself shining in the sky.
I see myself floating above a vast ocean of buildings and lights.
Slowly, I rise higher and higher to enter space...
I am surrounded by many stars and planets in space, and I see the Earth as a small ball at a far-off distance.
Slowly, I see myself flying beyond space and the physical world of the five elements.
I, the golden star, full of peace, enter another dimension, a soft orange-red light world, a world with a colour I see at the time of sunset in the physical world.
A world of sweet silence and peace, full of peaceful light stretching far, far away.
I feel a pure and soft bliss here, surrounded by light.
I, the spiritual being of light, sparkle in this sixth non-physical element.
I am free of all tensions and extremely light.
This is where I belong.

"True love is about creating an environment for others to grow"

Thought:
Often, in relationships, we have expectations from those closest to us. These expectations can be stifling to the other person and prevent us from allowing them to grow in the way they deserve.
Process:
I show true love when I create the right environment for those I love. It is in this environment that they can grow. And to do this further, I must stop expecting those close to me to behave according to my expectations. I must support their own growth wherever it takes them.
