The Play of Maya

Maya is "the great illusion" in which we all forget our truth (that we are the infinite, the 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 itself). It paints countless forms upon the screen of 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚌𝚒𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜, while the silent Witness (the soul) remains forever untouched.
The play of Maya is a shimmering theatre where forms arise and fade like "waves" upon one ocean, and what seems separate borrows its life from 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 (light), that is god. It is a luminous dream formed by 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞 & 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲, that the "ego" arising in the mind is convinced that every JOY and SORROW are real and final; while the truth is they are mere illusions.
Freedom begins when we perform our duties with love, yet "release" the need to control the outcomes. When the Self is known, illusion loses its power, just as darkness disappears before the rising sun.
