Surrender the Mind

Surrendering the mind means "releasing the constant need to control, analyze, and resist life’s flow." It is 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘰 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘥𝘨𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 in order to achieve mental clarity and inner peace.
Surrendering to God is not an escape from thought, but 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞. It is the quiet act of placing our fears, desires, doubts, and plans into 𝚍𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚜, 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 that a wisdom greater than the mind is guiding my journey. We begin to live with greater 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦.
It is not weakness, but wisdom—the recognition that the limited mind cannot grasp the infinite. When we let go of our "inner struggle" and 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 which moves through all things, peace naturally arises. In surrender, the mind becomes still, the heart opens, and life begins to unfold with effortless grace.
