No Free Gifts In Life

Before I get any kind of advancement or promotion in life, I need to have earned the right to it. There are no free gifts in life, nor are there any shortcuts to success of a lasting nature.

Every “gift” carries a hidden tag: "gratitude" to express, "effort" to invest, or a "lesson" to learn. When opportunity lands at your feet, remember the price is often paid in time, intention, or the courage to grow. Even luck demands preparation, and kindness begets responsibility.
