Learn To Love Your 'Self'
Loving the self is the practice of embracing your worth, nurturing your well-being, and treating yourself with kindness and compassion. People look for love through relationships. Yet this love is coloured with expectation. When these expectations are not fulfilled there is a tendency to get upset.
Before we can love others, we need to learn to love ourselves. When I love myself, I am able to appreciate all the unique qualities and virtues that are part of me. I feel happy and secure within myself, and I am able to project that love out toward other people. The more love I express the more love I receive in return, filling my life with joy.
